American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Association virtual symposium on genetics and breeding

Happy New Year! To kick off the year, the American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Foundation (AWPGF), the 501(c)(3) affiliate to the AKC parent club — American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Association, is sponsoring a virtual symposium on issues related to genetics and breeding on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 3:00 pm Eastern Time. The webinar will feature two excellent speakers. Elaine Ostrander, PhD, a geneticist with the National Institutes of Health, will talk with us about what the dog genome sequence can tell us about our dogs. Melissa Goodman, DVM, a veterinarian focused on reproduction, will discuss canine ovulation timing.

This webinar should prove most informative and the AWPGF encourages all dog-loving friends, no matter what breed they fancy, to attend. You may register by going to awpgf.org/our-programs. Registration is FREE.

We invite you to share the flyer with Club members.
