The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association would like to help you in your search for the right dog. A strong network of individual members and local clubs -- both show and field trial -- exists throughout the country, supported by the efforts of the parent club. When you contact the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association (our name is part of our heritage and tradition, but our activities embrace all aspects of Springer competition, including conformation, field trials, hunting tests, and obedience trials) you will be referred to local clubs in your area. All officers, governors, and members of the ESSFTA are volunteers.

Not only can local clubs be very helpful in your search for a puppy or dog, they can also provide an introduction to a broad range of Springer activities and help you learn about the breed. Consider joining a Springer club; you'll meet people with great passion for the breed, some of whom have been actively involved for many years. Clubs typically publish newsletters, keeping their members up-to-date on special activities and events for Springers. For a list of local club contacts for field and show clubs, visit our Regional Clubs page.

The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association would welcome your membership as well. The parent club's quarterly newsletter, "The Spotlight," provides information about club meetings, events, and activities and also "links" the parent club to the activities of the broader canine fancy. For additional information, please contact Barbara Granatir, Corresponding Secretary, ESSFTA at SandyhillESS@comcast.net

The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association Foundation is a separate organization that raises funds for health, education and genetic projects beneficial to Springers. The Foundation welcomes tax deductible gifts in any amount. For further information on making a donation, please visit the Foundation site.

Breeder Referral: If you would like additional information on obtaining an English Springer Spaniel, see the ESSFTA Breeder Education and Referral Program page.
