Breeder of the Best of Breed at National Bench Specialty
Offered by Mrs. F. H. (Julia) Gasow, the Salilyn Challenge Trophy is a beaded silver plate wine cooler mounted on a walnut base. This trophy is to be awarded to the breeder of the English Springer Spaniel chosen Best Of Breed at the ESSFTA National Bench Specialty. For permanent possession, the trophy must be won five times by the same breeder, not necessarily with the same dog. The trophy will remain in the Association’s permanent possession until retired. A large green rosette will be offered as a remembrance of the award. Kellie Fitzgerald has continued to offer the Salilyn Rosette each year.
