Reba is the seventh Alynn/Serenade Versatile Springer and is the sixth consecutive generation of multi-titlists at Alynn. She is trained and handled in all performance events by Lynn.
She is a daughter of CH VCD2 VS Alynn’s Solitaire (the only Master Hunter to finish her bench championship at an ESSFTA National Specialty) and half sister to GCH CH VS Alynn’s Moonlight Serenade.
Enthusiasm describes Reba as she approaches every task with full on eagerness. Without a doubt, hunting is her favorite sport flushing many birds out of the air, and delivering them to hand.
The same month Reba turned two, she finished her Championship with three majors including a five point Specialty win, plus earned her junior hunter title. On her way to her Grand Championship, she had multiple BOB wins, became a Tracking Dog, a Senior Hunter, and a Multi Titlist.
Reba was a multi titlist in 2013, 2015, 2016 and earned her Canadian CD title. In 2016 she qualified for the Top Twenty competition.
At eleven years young, she still loves to fly across the fields and over jumps.

Master Hunter 22 - October 2, 2022

Whiskey has always been a quick study in any venue that we have tried. By far, her favorite venue is hunting. Chasing birds and swimming…. life does not get any better. We started at the Master Hunter level and entered our first test in May 2016. By June 2017 she had earned her MH, MHA, and MH12. In 2020, after 3 years of not being in the field, the opportunity to take her hunting came up. She was SO happy to be back in the field again, and I was SO amazed that she was still steady! I thought ‘what the heck’ and started running her again. She earned her MH22 last year.
Whiskey’s least favorite venue, next to Conformation 😉 , is Obedience. However, she was 2015’s Novice A and Novice B Obedience ESS of the year. She earned her GCH on August 1, 2017, and became the first ESS with both a GCH and an MHA.
I must thank Jason Givens (Hunt Trainer) and Cheri Hayek (Obedience Trainer) for their patience (mostly with me) and their incredible ability to train both canine and handler! And then there is Whiskey’s breeder, Henriette Schmidt, who blessed me with this amazing, cuddly Springer!

You knew you were accepted into Craze’s life when he pooped in your house. He never did anything spectacularly well, but he did it, just his way. His most notable accomplishment was probably going reserve winners dog and best bred by at the 2010 National Specialty. He always liked playing pretty dog best. He earned 3 legs on his JH in April/May 2011. 3 weeks later he got back to back specialty majors to finish his CH. A week later he got his last leg for his JH in true Craze fashion by getting distracted by a butterfly on his land retrieve and a feather in the water retrieve. Glad he had a strong go out command.
I have many people to thank for working with Cry Baby Craze along the way. Becky Hoskins, his co-owner and breeder, for getting his CH. Cheryl Clark for getting his JH. Mom for getting his TD. Kathy Patregnani for teaching him weaves and Heidi Nelson and mom for helping get his agility titles when he still refused to weave for me. And his Aunt Kathy for working with him in scent work.
