Beckett Is my beloved girl!! I’m so proud of her !

Beckett (whelped July 24, 2015) flew through another stand-out year in 2020 finishing the year as the #1-ranked AKC obedience English Springer Spaniel. February during her first visit to Westminster, She was a real crowd pleaser there in the obedience competition, posting a 196 in Utility B and making me very proud. We went to Obedience Regional in Topeka, Kansas with 25 plus dogs she won a large Utility class, and finished 3rd overall with 3 Golden’s!!! She also achieved OTCH 2 and has 70 points and her wins for OTCH 3. 2020 obedience invitational she represented ESS well finishing 5th to make the Top Twenty !

I continue to be grateful to Beckett’s breeder, Laurie Green, Jody Garcini & Kelly Liedtke, and to Mike Bockhorn, who bred Beckett’s sire, CH Polesitter’s Victory Lane (Auto).

Titled September 27, 2020

Who could foresee the year 2020 would turn out to be? Like most people, we had very few opportunities for training and even less opportunities for trialing. Kazee and I, however, continued to train in Utility throughout the shut down and when we reentered the ring in fall 2020, Kazee brought unmatched gusto and his own unique flair to the Utility ring. He will continue to work towards his Obedience Championship in 2021, while also trialing in agility and working on his field skills (which Kazee thinks is the best thing EVER!). Thank you again to ESSFTA for recognizing his achievement.

After a disappointing 2019 recuperating from an injury, Kazee came back to the obedience ring to earn his Open title in January 2020, nine months after earning his first two CDX legs. He sometimes has a little too much fun in the ring, but he is a joy to train and he loves to work. Thank you to Kathy Patregnani for breeding this fabulous little dog and to ESSFTA for acknowledging his achievement.

We would like to thank the ESSFTA for honoring Josie with the 2020 Novice Obedience Springer award. We are so very proud of Josie's accomplishments and this accolade. This is the second time that the ESSFTA has given Josie an annual award. The first was for Open Agility Springer.

We would like to give a special thanks Josie's breeder Patty Salzwedel for giving us such an outstanding dog to share our lives with. Patty has been so supportive and helpful

Josie has spoiled me because she is so easy to train. She is a remarkable multitalented performance dog. Josie and I have done so much together. She is everything to me. She is such a sweet and loving addition to our lives. Over the past few years, both Josie and I have had some health issues that we have overcome. Now she is going to sit back, relax and enjoy the sunshine.

For the past 3 years, Beckett has captured the title of ESSFTA Rally dog of the year. This fun little dog loves the Rally game. She gets a little creative if we do too many classes so we try to keep those to a minimum. I find Rally very challenging and fun to perfect every move. Thank you to the ESSFTA for the year end awards!!
