At five weeks old, a beautiful puppy lightly trotted across the yard and stopped in a perfect stack. Everything you wish for when you breed a litter, this girl took our breath away. Mira has lived up to that first image and so much more. 35 years and 55+ champions ago, Susie Shore and Dana Lodge joined forces to create a small breeding program we call Studio N Kytra. We were thrilled to have Ann Lafernier join our team in the 90’s and throughout the years, we have strived to create dogs better than the previous generation.
To that end, our beautiful Lana was bred to one of the most recent successful sires, GCH Esspecial Tiffany’s Magic Kingdom. Thank you Kim for allowing us to include Will in our plan. The result, Mira representing our sixth generation of our program and the first dog we have ever seriously campaigned in 35 years.
Mira is sweet, sane and beautiful, but her movement is her claim to fame. Not being brightly marked, many judges skip over her in their first cursory glance, but once she moves, as the cliché goes, “the rest is history”.
Mira made us proud at the specialties and supported shows by winning Best of Opposite Sex at the ESSFTA National, Best of Breed at Puget Sound, Grayslake, Fort Wayne, and back-to-back wins at Woofstock, often being awarded by spaniel experts. We are grateful to the judges that recognized her and are even more overwhelmed by the sincere support we have received from fellow breeders we truly respect.
It goes without saying, but thank you to Jody, Leonardo and Ann for making her look so spectacular in the ring. It would have never happened without the three of you. And lastly, Susie thank you for allowing me to take Mira off your couch for an entire year and sharing this fun journey with me. What a great journey it was!

GCHS All-Time’s Doing It Disney Style, CGC aka Splash has been a breeders’ dream come true! She “Splashed” into the year with style, grace and elegance.
Splash had large footsteps to follow after her dame In’l/GCHS All-Time’s Show Arena was number 3 show bitch in 2015 and her sire GCH Dalin’s He’s In Love With Disney won our National last year!
Last year (2018) Splash exceeded my hopes making the Top 20 with limited showing after moving to the Pacific Northwest. 2019 Runner Up Show Bitch Of The Year is an award that does not happen to a breeder very often and is an honor!
It could no have happened without her co-breeders, Linda and Julie Fong, believing in the KC and Rena breeding and Splash! I will forever appreciate their gratitude and support. However, it takes a village as a “Team” to accomplish this. None of this could have been accomplished without the friendship and wonderful handling, training and conditioning of Christy Marley!

Arthur was sired by the great GCH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova (“Peyton”) and his dam was CH Telltale Lucy in the Sky, a Telltale Wing Commander daughter.
He was bred by Celie Florence and Delores Streng. Throughout his show and breeding career, he was owned by Beth Fink, Celie Florence and Delores Streng.
Arthur had a short show career. He was Best of Opposite in Sweeps at American Spaniel Club in 2014, and went on to finish that week-end at ASC with a 5 point major as Best of Winners under esteemed judge, Michael Faulkner.
Arthur produced 28 champion offspring, many of whom had performance titles.
Arthur is retired and lives with our Vet Tech as her constant companion and hiking buddy.

Blizzard is that special dog that comes into your life and immediately takes over.
I was lucky enough to get Blizzard from Robin Novack, Celie Florence, Erin Kerfoot and Delores Strang. She was out of a litter where they all finished. Blizzard came to me at 9 months and was finished by the time she was a year old and had her GCH at the age of 18 months. Since she was not ready to be specialed, I bred her to Titus, MBIS MBISS GCHG Wil-Orion's Twenty Twenty, back to back. In her first litter, we finished 5 champions, one that went on to be 2018 Show Bitch of the Year, Fergie,GCHG Crossroad JockeyHill Big Girls Don't Cry. In her second litter there were only 2 puppies and they both finished their championship.
In 2016, Blizzard was specialed by Jody Garcini, going BOS at ESSFTA National Specialty, and was the #1 Springer Bitch for 2016. She was ESSFTA Show Bitch of the Year and was ESSFTA Runner Up Show Dam of the Year. To my knowledge this has never been accomplished before.
In 2017 Blizzard was bred to Player, MBIS MBISS GCHG Crossroad JockeyHill On The Green AXJ, APJ. It was a litter of 8 and all but one finished their championship.
Blizzard was then honored with ESSFTA Show Dam of the Year in 2019.
Blizzard has since retired from the whelping box but does come out for Veteran Sweepstakes every once in a while. She was the constant companion of my husband Dick until the day he passed away. She still sleeps on his pillow every night. I am forever grateful to Robin, Celie, Erin and Delores for trusting me with Blizzard and to Jody who made her the Special Bitch she is.

Tova, known as the cutest dog EVER, represents the first homebred champion for the Dalsland line. Her fun and quite interesting markings did not deter her ability to be truly competitive at the specialties where she easily finished. Although we are proud of her wins in the show ring it is as a brood bitch where she has truly shined. Tova was bred twice, once to Ch. DarTek’s Ilean Kode to the Treasure CDX, RN and once to Ch. Lordillea Stonihill Foto-Op. The combination of these litters proved to be quite successful giving us six champions (5 in 2019) all with specialty wins. We think each and every one of her kids are wonderful but notably must point out Ch. Dalsland Kytra N Crossroads If I Could Turn Back Time, 2020 Westminster Award of Merit, Ch. Dalsland N Kytra’s Time Warp, the 2018 ESSFTA BOS Sweeps winner and Reserve Winners dog and my brownie, Ch. Dalsland N Kytra’s Frozen in Time, the 2019 ESSFTA Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Bred by.
Tova is the essence of a brood bitch, a wonderful mother that continues to nurture her babies, even as adults; after all she is the cutest dog EVER.
