Josie was born at my home and was from a single pup litter. Her name “…She’s the One” comes from being the only one in the litter. I came to the conclusion that God didn’t want me to screw up and pick the wrong pup, so he gave me the pup I needed.
She has been a very consistent dog and proved to have what it takes to be competitive at a high level. She placed in 6 out of 13 trials with 2 placements being wins giving her the AFC title. Josie passed 6 of 7 Master level hunt tests to get her MH title by the age of 2 yrs old. Afterwards, she picked up a “pass” here and there and finished her MHA title going 5 for 5 with all 5 being scored high enough to qualify for the Advance title.
She trusts me and I trust her which makes us a great team in the field. Not only is she a great competitive dog, she is also my top hunting dog. She has introduced a lot of folks to the great attributes of field bred English Springer Spaniels.
I am glad I have had the enjoyment of being the breeder, owner and handler of this awesome little spaniel. She comes from great lineage like most of the dogs we compete against in trialing. She has upheld the family tradition.
