I am very blessed to have this wonderful dog in my life. He is the epitome of a happy springer who loves to work no matter what the job is! He has far exceeded my expectations in the agility arena, but this is just icing on the cake as most of all he is my beloved pet. I want to thank Billie and Tim Edwards, Dazzle’s breeders for entrusting me with his care. I also want to thank ESSFTA for this award which I am extremely honored and humbled to receive.

Thank you to the ESSFTA for awarding Skye with the 2016 Excellent Agility Springer Award. It is both an honor and a surprise. What a ride 2016 has been for this special Springer. Starting with her first trial in January as a green 18-month-old, sailing through her Excellent titles with 6 perfect runs in a row, and culminating with her MXJ title in December. Along the way, Skye has had her share of “Springer” moments and has no patience when it comes to waiting for her next run but, her never ending desire to please and love for the sport always shines through.
Thanks to the crew at Dog Sports at Kim’s and special thanks to Kim Berkley, whose guidance and patience as a trainer have turned a green handler and dog into a pretty good team.
I would also like to thank Skye’s breeder, Wendy Parr, who allowed me to bring home such a sweet, loving, and intelligent dog.
Special thanks to my family, without their support, we wouldn’t be able to train, i.e. play, as much as we do. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my special girl.

I am thrilled to receive the 2016 Novice & Open Agility Springer of the Year award with Kylee!
Kylee is my third Agility Springer and I have been honored with ESSFTA in Open (2005) and Novice (2012).
I am goal oriented and it was my hope to get two awards with Kylee in the same year. Having experience under my belt I knew what skills I wanted and took my time in training. Kylee was always willing to try new things with excitement.
Kylee stepped into the ring for the first time on September 9, 2016 ready to play the game. On November 19, 2016 she was in her first Masters class and on December 3, 2016 she earned her first Double Q towards her MACH. I look forward to playing the game as we work towards our MACH. Kylee also loves to chase the chuck-it, swim and dive into lakes and cuddle by my side.

Thank you for honoring Chaos with this award. What a fun year we have had. She began competing at the Preferred level in April 2015 after earning her MACH13. Chaos was 11 years old in January 2016 when we decided to try to qualify for the AKC Invitational as the #1 Preferred Springer. She rose to the occasion and we found ourselves in Orlando in December. Chaos ran beautifully at the Invitational, our 6th year competing there. It was the appropriate exclamation point on an awesome agility career for my amazing teammate.
