GCH CH Crownroyal's Tea Caddy x CH Keepsake Surprise Package
- Bailey -
Owned by Bonita Regan
Bred by Bonita Regan and Ms. Frances A Nelson

We are thrilled to receive this wonderful recognition for Bailey. THIS is what we all aspire to as breeders.

"Bailey" is a special blend of the many great Springers in her pedigree. One of a litter of four—three of whom finished their AKC championships — the liver-andwhite 'Bailey" is the result of finding and utilizing important breed type elements from the past as we strive to improve the breed for the future.

A look at "Bailey's" pedigree reveals some important influences. "Bailey's" maternal grand dam was Ch Salilyn's Silhouette the base of the Keepsake line. She is linebred on many great Salilyn dogs. "Bailey's" dam, "Velvet," was Runner-Up Parent Club Show Bitch of the Year for 2006 and represents the third generation of Bonnie Regan's Keepsake bitches. Her paternal grand dam Ch Crown Royal's Black Tea Leaves was a Ch Salilyn's Nicholas daughter.

"Bailey's" great qualities include her lovely, chiseled head and correct expression, eye shape, color, and placement; correct leg/body proportion and balance, genuine substance, and outstanding reach, drive, and foot timing.

We have had wonderful support throughout "Bailey's" journey. From her Specialty wins as a puppy to finishing on the same day as her litter brother, "Boston," at the prestigious Eastern Specialty, to her Best of Opposite wins at the 2011 and 2012 National Specialties, and Runner-Show Bitch for 2011 "Bailey" has earned and kept the attention of Springer specialists. Kellie FitzGerald and Chris Berg have done a brilliant job of conditioning and presenting "Bailey" at her very best.

CH Pawmarc's Northern Lights x CH Darkover Georgianna Moon CGC
- Finn -
Owned by Bobbie Daniel, Silsby and Charles Pelissero
Bred by Bobbie Daniel and Pat Wilaby Jansen

Rarely shown as a youngster, Finn finished his championship with a Supported Entry major, then was not shown until he was nearly four, as a special. He is a Best in Show, multiple Best in Specialty and multiple group winner in both the U.S. and Canada. He earned his Canadian Championship in one weekend, with three Group I’s.

Best of all, Finn is a family dog who lives to please and shows his affection towards me every day, and in every moment. He delights in greeting visitors with a toy in his mouth and a woo-woo on his lips. He is CHIC #88685 and with that, he has all of the health clearances required for that great honor. He has sired several puppies who are continuing his winning ways. Finn is truly special both in the ring and as a companion. I am honored to be his breeder and his human.

CH Rendition Autumfire Armstrong x GCH Cerise Barefoot Contessa
- Dutchess -
Owned by Dorothy Cherry and Ann Summerfelt
Bred by Dorothy Cherry and Kathy Kirk

Duchess was born to be a star. At 9 months she was Best in Sweepstakes at the 2010 ESSFTA Nat'l. In 2010 she was Winner's Bitch at the 2011 Nat'l. She is already a Multiple Group winner and has many Group placements. She is handled by Howard Huber III (Howie). They make magic together.

Duchess is the quintessential Cerise bitch. She has perfect proportions with a beautiful front and short back. Her body is deep and leg length appropriate, ribs are well rounded. Her head is lovely, the expression engaging. Duchess is warm and outgoing, greeting everyone with joy. She loves the limelight and never fails to put on a show but she is calm and serene in her home environment.

Cerise looks forward to a fine Show career for Duchess followed by great success in the whelping box.

2012 SHOW SIRE OF THE YEAR (2-way tie)
CH Felicity Diamond Jim x CH Cerise Kiss Me Kate
- Jesse James -
Owned by Dorothy Cherry and Rosemary Fugit
Bred by Dorothy M Cherry

Jesse is an outstanding example of ESS breed type. His magnificent head is held high and proud from his long curved neck. His body is deep, his legs in ample proportion, his front assembly correct, his back short, with excellent bone and body. Beyond that his temperament is fantastic. He is the personification of our "merry" breed, outgoing and welcoming to his public.

His show record speaks for itself. He is a multiple BIS BISS winner, two time ESSFTA Nat'l Specialty Winner, 2008 and 2009 ESSFTA Show Springer of the Year and #1 ESS all systems, twice Eastern ESS Club BOB. His offspring are winning specialties on a regular basis.

None of this would have been possible without the special bond he shares with his handler and inspiration Howard Huber. Howard taught Jesse to reach inside himself and find a way to do more than we dreamed he could. In a very real sense, he did it for Howard. Jesse shortly became his "heart dog" and will live out his life with Howard. He's at home there.

2012 SHOW SIRE OF THE YEAR (2-way tie)
CH Wil-Orion's Northern Exposure x GCH Wil-Orion's Past Present N Future
- Titus -
Owned by Laurie Green, Erline Jesseman, Janice L Johnson, and Erica Johnson
Bred by Janice L Johnson and Erica R Johnson

What can you say about a dog you saw in the show ring and your good friend nudges you to say, " you should like this dog, he's right up your alley". How true those words were.

Titus has accomplished more than we could have ever imagined and has surpassed all the goals we have ever set for him. He has won 12 Specialty BOB including back to back at Michigan and BOB at Eastern. He was ESSFTA Show Dog of the Year for 2010. He has won 2 Best In Shows and numerous Group Ones. His most impressive wins were his back to back Best of Breeds at Westminster KC in 2010 and 2011.

Titus is a wonderful representative of the Wil-Orion breeding program. It is an honor to share his career with Janice Johnson, her daughter Erica and my friend Erline Jesseman. Titus has also proven himself as a wonderful sire who has produced 16 champions to date as well as a Best Owner Handler BIS, a Canadian champion, and a Specialty BOB winner. Most of his get have titles at both ends of their names with a MACH 2, a TD, an AX and AXJ, and many obedience titled.

We talk about dogs that have "heart" and we believe this is what has made Titus so special. He is an exceptional springer who gives all of himself whether it's in the ring or sitting with his owners.

Titus has been shown throughout his career by his handler, Jody Paquette. It is this bond and team that has made Titus successful, and we thank Jody and Leonardo for all their support.

CH Springbrook Tagalong My Own Magic x CH Wil-Orion's Timeless
- Mona -
Owned by Janice L Johnson and Erica R Johnson
Bred by Dan Maley

It is an honor to have Mona receive Dam of the Year in the same year that her son, Titus, is tied for Sire of the Year. We owe a huge thanks to all those involved in both Mona and Titus’ awards and to those who helped us achieve our goal of finishing all 8 kids last year, without you this would not have been possible!

Mona has been an incredible bitch to work with, she is a wonderful show dog and companion and she has also been an outstanding producer of genetically sound children.

In 2005 Mona went BOW at the Chattahoochee Specialty in January and proceeded to finish her championship by going BOW at the National later that year. In 2006, Mona made limited appearances in the specials ring but accumulated multiple Breed wins and a Group 1. Mona then moved on to motherhood and had three litters of puppies. Her first litter out of Lewis (CH Wil-Orion’s Northern Exposure) produced 7 puppies and gave her 5 champions including Titus, a repeat breeding lead to 4 more puppies and 1 champion. Mona’s third litter out of Lars (CH Ridgewyn’s Legacy) produced 8 puppies, 7 American champions and 1 Japanese champion. After all that excitement, Mona has reentered the ring as a veteran for occasional shows.

A big thank you to Mr. Lloyd for all your puppy training and assistance!

CH Sprucehaven Take 'Em By Storm x CH CrownRoyal's Black Tea Pot
- LaTeaDa -
Owned by Deborah B Peck and Mary P Osbun
Bred by Mary P Osbun

Eight years ago, at the Canfield Dog shows, Mary Osbun offered me (in a co-ownership) her beautiful young puppy, LaTea Da, and I said no. As I drove away, I looked back at this pretty b/w puppy standing in her X-pen watching me drive away. After hearing Van Morrison on the car radio singing Brown Eyed Girl, crooning away the “La Tea Da” chorus, I reconsidered and drove back for her the next day. After owning Springers for 30 years I’d decided that there would be no more. That all changed with LaTea.
Cute and smart, she won her first major at 6 months old, her first specialty sweepstakes win and major at 9 months, 2nd specialty major at 12 months and her 3rd sweeps & specialty major followed a couple months later. Then it was on to agility, easily finishing her novice titles. Bred to CH Wil-Orion Twenty Twenty, she produced a total of 13 puppies. Of those, 6 are breed champions and/or GCH. Several are agility, rally, obedience and tracking titlists. We are especially proud of MACH 3 CrownRoyal's Migh-Tea Elf, a top 5 agility springer for 2 consecutive years.

But the journey is not over for LaTea. Despite interruptions for motherhood, she’s earned her TD, BN, RN, OA, AXJ. I’m especially proud of her TD where she both certified and earned her TD in her first attempt. She is also a certified therapy dog. With motherhood behind her, she is back in the agility ring working on those excellent titles.

We are proud and honored That Ch Crownroyal LaTea Da O’Sademont is Runner-Up Show Dam of the Year.
