AGILITY SPRINGER OF THE YEAR:
MACH3 CEDARWOODS CHAOTIC CRESCENDO XF
Chaos
Owned by Jan Baker and Jackie Alschuler
Chaos is my second agility dog. My first dog was lightning fast and offered me numerous challenges as a novice handler. So, when Chaos and I began showing in agility, I was thrilled to have a dog who would listen to me, take the path I set for her and qualify consistently. For a while, I was content with this. But soon I found myself thinking "there's more dog in there." Over the last year and a half, we've worked hard to have her come off the start line quicker and build more drive throughout the course. Boy has it paid off! In February, 2010, Chaos earned her MACH2. She followed up with her MACH3 in September, 2010. Chaos competed at the 2010 AKC Agility Nationals and finished 39th out of 270 dogs in the 20" height class. At the AKC Agility Invitational in December, 2010, she was 10th out of 86 dogs in the 20" class.
I am so very proud of Chaos and honored to have earned this award. It is a blast to be her teammate in agility. I love training her as much as showing, but most of all, I love sharing my life with her.
EXCELLENT AGILITY SPRINGER:
CH MACH TOPGUNS VINEWOOD MAKIN' A SPLASH UDX OM2 RE MH XF WDX
Splash
Owned by Kathy Patregnani
For the second year in a row, splashing his way to the Excellent Agility Springer of the Year for 2010, is Splash! Next to chasing birds, running agility is Splash's 2nd favorite thing to do.
In 2010, Splash was busy in other AKC areas, so we only got to run agility 10 weekends. In that time he earned many double Q's and a combined YPS of 5.16. Way to go Splasher!!!!!
Splash is a super fun dog to run, from the second I release him at the start line, to the the rewarding rowdy game of tug after his run. Splash loves it all. I could not ask for a more willing partner.
I want to thank ESSFTA for recognizing Splash with this wonderful award.

Topguns Summer Storm OA, OAJ “Boomer”
I am so excited to receive the 2010 Novice and Open Agility Springer of the year awards with Boomer. What a thrill to get two agility awards in one year! Boomer started running agility in September of 2010. He finished all of his Novice titles in three weekends of trials and ran all six runs 100% clean. He ran 5.49 YPS in JWW and 4.99 YPS for Standard. We finished the Open titles in five trial weekends, again running 100% for all his runs. His combined average YPS between JWW and Standard was 4.32. Along with running agility, Boomer trained in the hunting field as well, earning two legs towards his Junior Hunting Title . Thanks so much for recognizing Boomer’s 2010 accomplishments in agility. It is truly an honor to receive these awards.

PREFERRED AGILITY SPRINGER OF THE YEAR:
MACH2 HIJINKS AGILE DANCER MXP2 MJP2
Indy
Owned by Gloria Picking and Jay H Picking
In 2000, I wanted to find a little black and white springer boy to play the game of agility with me. Indy came into our life. He was 13 months old when he competed with me for the first time. He took 4th place in a jumper's with weaves run on the very first day...Indy and I were hooked on the sport of agility. Indy has been competing in agility for almost 10 years, and competes in USDAA (United States Dog Agility Association) and AKC agility events. He has competed in the World Cynosport Games five times. Indy loves agility, and is well known for completing the course with a huge smile on his face. Indy is a sweet boy, a great competitor and a loving companion.
