SHOW SPRINGER AND SHOW DOG OF THE YEAR:
CH CERISE JESSE JAMES
Owned By: Dorothy Cherry and Rosemary Fugit
Son of Ch. Felicity’s Diamond Jim CD, RAE “James,” and Ch. Cerise Kiss Me Kate CD, NAJ, RN, WD “Katey,” Jesse was born and bred to compete. He has never disappointed us. He rocketed to the number one English Springer (all systems) in ’08 where he remained until the end of ’09, ending that year number six sporting dog. He was Cerise’s first multiple best in all breed shows. Above all, he exemplifies perfect temperament, loving all, but especially fond of small children.
Howard Huber brought this dog to heights we could scarcely anticipate. Theirs is an uncommon bond, reflecting years of hard work, softened by deep affection.
Although just four years old, Jesse will officially retire at this National until his veteran career commences. He has nothing left to prove in the show ring. Instead he will attempt to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious dam and pursue other titles, first in the field. We also expect a long and successful stud career.
BRAVO JESSE!

RUNNER-UP SHOW DOG OF THE YEAR:
CH TIFFANYS ESSPECIAL IMAGERY
Owned By: Celie Florence, Beth Fink, Kenneth Goodhue-McWilliams, and Delores Streng
Robin Novack and Monica Bowers made breed history when they produced Stanley. Through their collective efforts, Stanley won numerous dog show awards. He was Best in Show at the prestigious American Spaniel Club making him one of only six English Springers in its 129 year history to accomplish this feat. He then won the Bred By Exhibitor Group at the Eukanuba National Championship.
In less than a year’s time, Stanley won multiple Bests of Breed, and numerous Best in Specialty and Sporting Group awards. He also won multiple Bests in Show and was also Best of Breed at Westminster.
Stanley continues to be self-effacing, humble, and has a clever sense of humor. And he also has a lovely singing voice!
Stanley is a perfect gentleman and a true pleasure to know. He is siring puppies of the highest quality, who, like their famous father, are good minded and sound, and have the same delightful outlook on life. Some have achieved their championships and more are on their way to high accolades in the ring.
Team Stanley is proud and honored to have this wonderful dog in our lives. We appreciate and sincerely thank all of you who have expressed interest and praise of Stanley’s attributes.

Bloomie's year could not have been achieved without the support of her other owners, Erline Jesseman, Mary Osbun, Jennifer Kettleson and her very loving handler, Jody Paquette. They have made this our "miracle" year.
We have marveled at all of Bloomie's accomplishments, but the most rewarding is the work she now does with Autistic children, running agility, in our hometown. She makes us all believe in "miracles".

SHOW SIRE OF THE YEAR (2-WAY TIE):
CH RAMBLEWOOD JOHNNY B. GOODE
Owned By: Judy and Rich Vanderlip
Johnny came to the Vanderlips as a young dog from Linda Riedel and Theresa Miller at Ramblewood English Springer Spaniels. They were looking for a dog to Special and use in a breeding program with the physical and mental attributes that they remembered about the Springers that they both had grown up with. They wanted him to be of sound mind and body, a wonderful show dog of good type and soundness and a wonderful dog to spend their lives with as their beloved pet.
Johnny has turned out to be that and more. Always the ball player,(its hereditary), lover of dog shows and all the applause and then onto the couch to watch sports with Rich.
The caveat is that he has also produced puppies, with a variety of pedigrees, with these attributes as well. He has far exceeded their expectations in the two years he was campaigned and also as a sire with multiple Group and Best in Show wins and in producing multiple Specialty Best in Show and groups winners.
SHOW SIRE OF THE YEAR (2-WAY TIE):
CH SPRINGBROOK TAGALONGMYOWNMAGIC
Owned By: Sarah Kraft, Rebecca Hoskins and Paul Kraft
Owen’s show career started at an early age when he went BOS at WESSA from the puppy classes behind a top-ranked specials bitch. He followed that up by finishing his Championship at the National going Winners Dog at just 13 months old. Just two months later, he won his first Specialty Best of Breed. And just weeks after that, his first group placement – all owner-handled. He went on to win a big Specialty before the National, and to be recognized by many judges in group competition. One of my proudest moments with Owen was winning back-to-back all breed Best-in Show’s – something I had dreamed of, but never thought would actually happen.
As a sire, Owen has 55 Champions at this writing, with several more that are pointed and major pointed, and litters that are still coming up. He has previously been recognized as Show Sire of the Year, and Runner-Up Show Sire. His get have won multiple awards at the National level, several of his get are/were Nationally ranked group winners and placers, All-Breed and Specialty BIS winners, as well as a Westminster AOM winner. His get are also titling in tracking, rally, agility and obedience – additionally several of his offspring are Therapy dogs too. Owen is known for consistently producing beautiful movement, breed type, balance, good health, and easy-to-live-with temperaments – a testament to the top producers he is descended from. His impact as a sire continues to be evident in his grand- and great-grand get as well.
I will be forever indebted to my friend, Owen’s breeder and co-owner, Rebecca Hoskins for entrusting me with a puppy who has been all I could ever ask for. I am also ever grateful to the breeders who have sent their beautiful bitches to Owen, the owners who exhibited his offspring, and anyone else that made this achievement possible.
SHOW DAM OF THE YEAR:
CH CERISE POINT OF VIEW
Owned By: Kate O’Connell and Dorothy Cherry
Molly has OFA Good HIPS, elbows normal, eyes certified yearly and is a PRA “Carrier.”
Molly is the daughter of Ch. Salilyn Condor, “Robert,” and Ch. Cerise Jubilee Royale “CeCe.” She is litter mate to Ch. Cerise Kay n’ Dee Return of the King “Connor,” (ESSFTA Show Springer of the Year 2007) and full sister to Ch. Cerise Winsome Winter Rose, “Rosie,” (ESSFTA Show Springer of the Year 2004 and All Breed Brood Bitch 2007) as well as Ch. Southampton Cerise Charismatic, “Nick,” (Number Three English Springer Spaniel 2005).
Molly has not been overshadowed by her illustrious siblings. She has been their equal as a brood bitch, and was quite accomplished in the show ring as a Multiple Sweepstakes Winner, Multiple Best Puppy in Breed, and Group Placer in the Puppy Group. She was also Multiple Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and Award of Merit at Morris and Essex. She was First Place Brood Bitch at the Eastern English Springer Spaniel Club in June 2008, and ESSFTA National 2008 and 2009.
Although not a large bitch, Molly has perfect proportions which make her a joy to breed. She does not disappoint. She was first bred to Ch. Telltale Wing Commander, “Michael,” and produced six champions. The following year she was bred to Ch. Ramblewood Johnny B. Goode, “Johnny,” and again produced six champions. She was next bred to Ch. Rendition Autumn Fire Armstong, “Louis,” and most recently a repeat breeding to Ch. Ramblewood Johnny B. Goode, “Johnny.”
We look forward to multiple new champions!
RUNNER-UP SHOW SIRE OF THE YEAR:
CH PAWMARC’S NORTHERN LIGHTS
Owned By: Pat Wilaby and Bobbie Daniel
As breeders, we always hope for healthy puppies with stable temperament, but we dream of the possibility of a great one and we sometimes wait a lifetime for that special one. Cubby has realized that dream for us and has made us proud. Bobbie and I are honored to have bred, owned and loved him.
He was the FIRST puppy born in his litter, the FIRST springer for us to have ever won winners dog at six months of age at a specialty show and being his FIRST dog show ever. Cubby went on to win two more specialty majors to finish at 13 months of age, garnering along the way, four Best In Sweepstakes.
Cubby was specialed and handled by Becca Gear in 2007 and 2008. He was a multiple Best In Show, Best In Specialty Show, and group winner and was ranked in the top ten. Our deepest appreciation to Becca for presenting Cubby at his best.
A very big thanks to all the breeders who thought as highly about Cubby as we did, choosing him as the sire of their special litters. There aren't enough words to express our excitement and thrill during 2009 as his puppies finished their championships. This has just been one of the best rides ever!
Thank you,
Pat Wilaby Jansen and Bobbie Daniel
RUNNER-UP SHOW DAM OF THE YEAR:
CH GILCHRIST WYNMOOR LEXUS
Owned By: Billie and Erin Kerfoot, Ruth Kirby and Nancy Siver
In 2001, we purchased a little black whirlwind from Ruth Kirby (Gilchrist). Lexi, Ch. Gilchrist Wynmoor Lexus (Ch. Gilchrist Tomahawk x Ch. Jasmine in the Nick of Time) was Best in Sweeps at the PVESSC in May 2001, and WB/BOW at the 2002 Chattahoochee specialty. We bred Lexi twice to Ch. Telltale Freestyle, finishing six dogs from those two litters, making Lexi Runner Up Show Dam of 2007.
From the first breeding to Gorsha in 2005, we got Ch. Wynmoor Brightwater Timeless, owned by Nancy Siver and co-owned with Erin and Ruth Kirby. Chloe finished with specialty majors, including WB at the 2006 Eastern specialty. She was also RWB at the 2006 ESSFTA. She is a multiple specialty BOB and group placing bitch. She was also BOS at the 2008 ESSFTA in Texas. She finished 2008 and 2009 as the ESSFTA Show Bitch. Other finishing offspring from the first breeding to Gorsha were her sisters Ch. Wynmoor Time to Shine, Ch. Wynmoor W’hoosier Style, and her brother Ch. Wynmoor Telltale Inspiration, co-owned with Celie Florence, who finished with two specialty majors. In 2006, he was also Best in Sweeps at Spaniel Club and won the ESSCM Puppy Extravaganza. From the second breeding to Gorsha in 2006, there was Ch. Telltale Wynmoor Amanda who went to Celie and is co-owned with Delores Streng and Erin. She finished with some specialty wins, including WB at the 2007 Eastern specialty. Ch. Wynmoor Telltale Walk the Line finished in December 2007.
In 2009 we finished five dogs out of Lexi. From the first Gorsha breeding there was Ch. Wynmoor Sweet Independence, who was BOS in sweeps to Forrest at Spaniel Club, and WB and Best Puppy at Chattahoochee in 2007. From the second breeding to Gorsha we got Ch. Wynmoor Telltale Just in Time who won his first major at the Lake Erie specialty in August 2006, and finished his championship in January 2009 by going BOB over specials. His sister, Ch. Wynmoor Telltale Sweetgrass, finished her championship in January 2009. In February 2007, we bred Lexi to our dog Parker, Ch. Autumfire Park Avenue which produced Ch. Wynmoor Champagne Supernova. His wins in 2008 include Best in Sweeps and Best Puppy at Chattahoochee; WD from the BBE class the first day of Eastern and BOS in sweeps the next day; Puppy of the Year at the ESSCM, BOS in sweeps and RWD on day 2. Peyton’s most exciting win came at the 2008 ESSFTA, going WD/BOW/Best BBE! He finished his championship in July 2009 by winning the sporting group at Shawnee KC in Virginia. In addition, he was Best BBE and BBE sporting group 4 at the Eukanuba show in 2009. In late fall of 2007, we bred Lexi to Ch. Springbrook Tagalong My Own Magic, producing Ch. Brightwater Wynmoor Time Share who also finished in 2009.
At almost 10 years of age, Lexi is still going strong, reminding me more and more of the Energizer Bunny every day. Her zest for life and “joie de vivre” is a characteristic she also seems to have passed on to her offspring.
