Thank you to the ESSFTA for honoring Link with this award! When we were ready to get another Springer, we wanted a black and white girl, at least 1 year old. What we got was a liver and white boy, 12 weeks old. As it turned out, Link was exactly what we were looking for. Right from the start, Link loved the game of agility. He enjoyed practicing and learning new things. One of Link's best traits is that he is able to adapt to two different handling styles since we both run him at trials. During the last few years, we have shared many exciting moments with Link. One of the most special moments was being invited to the 2014 Agility Invitational in Orlando. Link made it to the finals and ended up in 7th place! We want to thank Link's breeders: Mary Osbun, Laurie Green, Debbie Peck, and Jennifer Kettleson for always being so encouraging and supportive. They have cheered Link on every step of the way. Thank you, also, to Link's instructor, Dana Pike. She has taught us how to make Link the best boy he can be while keeping it fun for all three of us. Link has taken us on quite the journey. We are very proud of our Little Brown Boy!

Thank you again to ESSFTA for awarding my Rose with the Excellent Agility Springer award for 2014. This dog continues to perform with joy and excitement, and is just hitting her prime in agility. Rose has loved this sport from her introduction onward and we are enjoying our ability to adapt to a more international style of handling. Her accomplishments during the past year include a number one rating by Bad Dog Agility in the Breed Power 10 scoring system and earning positions in the finals rounds for AKC Agility Nationals and Westminster Kennel Club Master Agility Champion competitions for 2014. Rose loves to play for a crowd and so these competitions were very exciting and enjoyable. Thanks, as always, to my breeder, Allison L. Miele, for providing me with a great dog and to my trainers, Mary Ellen Barry and Alaina Axford-Moore of Keystone Agility Club for keeping us on the cutting edge of agility handling.

2014 OPEN AGILITY SPRINGER
VINEWOOD ONCE UPON A THYME BN RN AX AXJCGC
Novel

Once Upon A Thyme, there was a litter of 5 springer’s born in Minnesota. 4 liver & white boys and 1 black & white “novel” bitch. It was that little “Novel” black & white girl who wormed her way into my heart and was chosen to stay and live out her days at VinEwood .

Novel has grown into a fine young bitch. Full of herself, fun to train, easy to work with, eager to please, and ready for anything I throw at her. A delight to live with and much like her noisy mother, she has a set of lungs and is not afraid to use them when she wants something or is excited. Agility came quite naturally to her, as she picked up the concept of run as fast as I can and chase the momma. Novel has really started to blossom into a great teammate.

I am looking forward to many more years of fun with this lovely little dog.

Thank You ESSFTA for offering this award, it is greatly appreciated, and will be cherished forever.

Novel & Kathy

2014 NOVICE AGILITY SPRINGER
BONDIR'S ADELAIDE A TRICALIBER NA NAJ

We are the proud Breeders/Co-Owners of Adelaide but Sue Salloum, her co-owner, has done all the hard work of training and competing with her in performance events. We are so proud of their accomplishments. Sue had never shown in the U.S. before and in 2014 we convinced her to attend some agility trials with us in Montana and Washington. Two weekends of shows later she had both her Novice Standard and Jumpers titles with multiple first class placements. Adelaide loves to fly! We are so honoured that as a result of these shows Adelaide qualified for the Novice Springer of the Year Award for ESSFTA.

We are equally proud of Adelaide's accomplishments in other venues. She finished her Canadian Championship Breeder/Owner handled by Lynn by winning Winner's Female and Best of Winners at the Canadian National in 2011. Currently she has 9 points in the U.S., all handled by Lynn. She completed her Canadian CD earlier this year in 3 straight trials, handled by Sue, with multiple class placements. Her Rally Novice and Canadian Agility Standard titles round out her versatility.

Adelaide is a sweet, smart and versatile girl who loves to work. Congratulations Sue and Adelaide!

Lynn, Anne & Barb Dorsay

Trevor has been a wonderful companion and doing agility with him has been icing on the cake. He is a sweet boy who aims to please. He loves to play, to work with me and just be goofy at times. Both inside the agility ring, the obedience ring and the other performance sports that we have done together Trevor has always tried his hardest and for that reason alone he is the best!!
