My first performance dog was a Bull Terrier. After accomplishing a novice agility title with her I realized I wanted a working breed. I was introduced to the field bred Springer and my future husband on the same day. I fell in love with both.

 It’s been quite a journey with Emma pursuing the different disciplines of the working spaniel. I have loved getting to know the people and their dogs in the world of agility, tracking, hunt tests and field trials. Most important to me have been the mentors I have met in all our venues of competition. They have become life long friends without whom none of our accomplishments would have been possible.

 Emma has an immense work ethic; because of this she has been a great partner on the path of the complex world of dog training. Beyond the world of tracking and agility her true love is being a hunting guide dog each season on the prairies of North Dakota.
