Hank is an unforgettable springer of exceptional work ethic coupled with remarkable creativity. For him, any exercise that has gotten old deserves a new variation: in one memorable utility performance, he added a leap over the bar jump to each exercise. During one hunt test effort, he passed all of his land work beautifully, and at the water retrieve did a picture perfect front, presenting the bird to......the judge.

But Hank is also a performed with charisma and presence, talented enough to earn the ESSFTA Open Obedience Springer of the Year award for 2000, plus multiple all-breed and specialty High in Trials. He is a driven tracker, and took to his birds at 8 1/2 years old with great joy and natural ability. In his retirement - if there is such a word for Hank - he's having a wonderful time with really obedience and is looking forward to hunting season on the chukar hills of Eastern Washington.
